History of the company

Vlastimil Mandík started his business as a sole trader in 1989 as soon as the legislation enabled. In the very beginnings he did the manufacturing in non-residence premises of his family house. The first years turnover amounted to 24,000,00 korunas. He has not changed a legal form of the firm throughout its existence (physical person). Having expected a turnover of 350 Mil. CZK in 2003, he gave a command to transform the firm into a public limited company only in 2002 and invested the existing plant with complete infrastructure and all resources including human resources.

 

The Company’s Owner has always preferred to invest profit into development. Therefore:

 

  • The MANDÍK, a.s. have own Hostomice and Prague design offices supported by the Solidworks, the latest development software;

  • The whole manufacturing process from material purchase to expedition and invoicing is controlled by an in-house information and back-up system;
  • The foreign trade develops (EU, RU, LV, UA, BY, SK et al.), not only by participations at the foreign fair trades and exhibitions (ISH Frankfurt/Main, IFH Nuremberg, Aquatherm Kiev et al.) but also floating and operating trade agencies ( Mandik GmbH Dortmund, Mandk Group Nové Zámky, ZAO Belarus)
  • MANDÍK, a.s. is a several Aquatherm Trade Fair Gold Medals holder for a self-developed unique Hefaistos Software as well as a CZECH MADE holder for Helios Line infraheaters;
  • MANDÍK, a.s. is a supplier of air technique components and especially fire-fighting devices for nuclear power plants as one of the leading Czech manufacturers, matching the tightest requirements and conditions posed on operation of such type of facility;
  • The machinery comprises several ultra precision and powerful technologies (cutting and folding centres, laser);
  • Another production and office premises of approximate area 6.300 sq.m are currently constructed in Hostomice.
