I. GENERAL
1. Destription
Absorbing inserts (hereinafter inserts) are used to prevent transfer of dynamic forces caused by vibrations of fans, units or other equipment to the attached air-handling piping and reverse transfer of forces caused by vibrations, expansion or weight.
Inserts are suitable for working conditions of air piping Group I. and temperature up to 80 °C. They are designed for macroclimatic areas with mild climate (N) according to ČSN 03 8805, common environment according to ČSN 33 2000-3, BNV spaces according to ČSN 33 2320, and are suitable for systems free of dust.
2. Design
Inserts consist of pair of flanges made of galvanized metal sheet, connected together by elastic inserts made of polyester / PVC.
When assembled with other parts of air-handling equipment, the elastic inserts must not be stretched.
Square inserts can be connected to flanges of "R" joints, or to angles according to ON 12 05 61.
Round inserts are of connection dimensions according to ON 12 05 17.

4. Data for ordering inserts

5. Transport, take - over, storage
Inserts are not packed when delivered. For transport and storage purposes the inserts are braced in
corners with metal strips which are removed after assembly. While transported and stored they must be protected against mechanical damage and weather conditions. If there is no method of take-over mentioned in the order, handing the goods over to the carrier shall be considered as a take-over.
