VAPM - Turbulent Air Outflow Anemostat (fixed fins)
Dimension in mm, weights in kg.
These technical conditions define the range of produced dimensions and versions of "Vortical anemostats of small diameter with fixed ribs"("terminal units") VAPM 125, 160, 200, 250, 315, 400. These technical conditions apply to the manufacture, design, ordering, assembly, operation and maintenance.
I. GENERAL
1. Description
Air terminal units with fixed ribs are the end point of an air conditioning system, which distributes the air led into the room for ventilation or cooling. Vortical output of air ensures intensive mixing with the existing air. This greatly reduces the temperature and speed of the airflow. Depending on the required volumetric airflow, location and noise suppression, the terminal units are delivered with or without diffusers.
Air terminal units are suitable for small rooms (ca 2.6 to 4 m) and for up to 30 air exchanges per hour. VAPM 125 to 400 terminal units supplement the existing line of vortical air terminal units with fixed ribs VVPM 300 to 625.
2. Versions
Depending on customer's requirement, air terminal units are delivered with rectangular or circular front plate - diffuser. Front plates include radial fixed ribs. The air duct can be connected through the connection box from the side or from the top, using circular necks. Connection boxes with connection from the side can be delivered with or without a regulation flap; connection boxes with connection from the top do not have regulation flaps:
Air terminal units are destined for environments protected from the elements, grade 3K5 according to ČSN EN 60 721-3-3 and for explosion-hazard free rooms according to ČSN EN 1127-1

IV. MATERIAL
All parts are made of zinc-plated steel sheet. The surface of the front plate and diffuser is coated with white baked varnish, RAL 9010 shade. Other RAL shades must be negotiated with the manufacturer in advance.
Connection boxes are made of zinc-plated steel sheet.
V. PACKING, TRANSPORT, INSPECTION, STORAGE
Air terminal units are transported in carton boxes as bulk cargo, using suitable covered means of transport. When agreed upon with the manufacturer, the terminal units can be loaded onto pallettes or wooden crates. Air terminal units must be protected from mechanical damage during transport and storage.
Unless the acceptance procedure is defined in the order, the disposition of the terminal units to the carrier will be considered the acceptance of the terminal units by the customer.
Air terminal units must be stored in closed rooms, out of the reach of aggressive vapours, gases and dust. Storage temperature must be -5 to +40 °C and relative humidity max. 80 %.
The manufacturer warrants the terminal units for 18 months since the start of operation; 24 months from the date of manufacture maximum.
